Picture a hero, knit the pattern.
Children character patterns to knit
OK, I have had a look around the net and there are very very few knitting or even crochet patterns with children’s characters.
So while I am not going to make whole garments for this post, I am going to show you how to make your own knitting patterns with children’s characters.
This is how it works:
- Pick a plain knitting pattern you like
- Find a picture of the character you want to knit
- Upload the picture here and print your pattern (free)
- Work out where in your chosen pattern (from step 1) you will insert the character pattern: large front of the garment, on the back, small on the sleeve, etc…
- Knit away
- Give the child the knit and get a big cuddle for it!
Here are some I prepared for you which you can download and print for free:
- Batman
- Cinderella
- Transformers
- Bananas in pyjamas
- Shrek
- Garfield
- Hello Kitty
- Winnie The Pooh
- Thomas the Tank Engine
- Harry Potter
You get the idea…
Over to you: upload a picture of your favorite children’s heros and print the pattern now.
